For our Munich office, we are looking for a head of finance (f/m/d) in part or full time.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial planning, strategies, and accounting and controlling processes to achieve organizational goals
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Oversee and conduct accurate and timely financial reports, including financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, to ensure resource availability for operations
  • Oversee the financial management of grants and ensure timely reporting and call for funds
  • Monitor, analyse and report on financial performance, making recommendations for improvements
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and reporting standards
  • Collaborate across company departments & functions as well as external parties such as investors, auditors, consultants & banks
Requirements
  • Completed studies in business administration, finance, controlling, accounting, or a related professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
  • 5+ years of accounting and/or controlling experience, or experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably as Head of Finance or Finance Director
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing finance structures and processes
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, regulations, and standards
  • Familiarity with German accounting practices such as HGB and IFRS
  • Solid understanding of financial systems, software, and tools 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting complex financial data and making strategic recommendations
  • Proven hands-on programming & data analytics skills
  • Good communication skills in English and German
