  • You will develop analog front-ends (thermometry), precision supplies, and filtering systems

  • You will design for EMC, safety, reliability, and serviceability (DFM/DFT)

  • You will set up manufacturing with suppliers by providing manufacturing files, assembly documentation, and testing instructions

  • You will create harness drawings, connector pinouts, and cable specifications

  • You will define grounding, shielding, star points, and isolation strategies across the cryostat and racks

  • You will minimize conducted and radiated noise, ground loops, and digital coupling

  • You will supervise external engineering partners by gathering requirements, writing specifications, and reviewing designs

  • You will contribute electrical sections to user manuals and service guides

Requirements
  • You have experience designing mixed-signal or precision analog PCBs, from concept through to production

  • You are confident in schematic capture and layout (e.g., KiCad, EAGLE)

  • You bring strong hands-on lab skills, using oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers, SMUs, and similar equipment

  • You understand power integrity, grounding and shielding, filtering, and EMC fundamentals

  • You communicate clearly in technical writing for drawings, specifications, and test documentation

It’s a plus if you bring experience with low-noise measurement systems, cryogenic sensors or magnet control, RF equipment, safety and EMC compliance workflows, electrical design tools like EPLAN or SolidWorks, or programming skills in Python for test automation and data analysis.
