For our Munich office, we are looking for a customer support engineer (f/m/d) in full time.
Responsibilities
  • Install and service cryostats at customer’s sites
  • Provide training and documentation for our products in a clear, professional, and customer-friendly manner
  • Handle enquiries and solve technical problems via phone, email, and on-site visits, maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure
  • Act as a point of contact to customers, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently while preserving positive relationships
  • Report technical and organizational issues, as well as opportunities, across the teams (engineering, production, product, sales)
  • Continuously monitor and improve customer satisfaction, balancing technical excellence with diplomatic communications
Requirements
  • You successfully completed a university degree (Master or PhD) in physics, quantum science & technology or similar
  • Experience with cryogenic equipment is beneficial
  • Willingness to travel internationally and manage extended hours when required
  • High emotional intelligence and good diplomatic skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Eagerness to learn about our products to address customer problems effectively
  • Ability to identify malfunctions, analyze root cause, and implement solutions quickly and calmly
  • Independent, patient, and confident in your work, with strong prioritization skills
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and adapt to changing schedules as needed
  • Problem solving skills, under pressure, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to stay calm, focused, and effective under pressure and in high-stakes situations
